Picture this: we dove headfirst into the hiring process, eager to find the perfect team for our project, Security Taxi, aimed to create an app that allowed passengers to share their real-time location while riding a taxi 🚕. It seemed like a simple concept, but we soon discovered that the limitations of mobile devices hindered our progress.

However, reality had different plans for us. The challenges started piling up faster than we could anticipate. It felt like we were navigating through a maze of time zones, language barriers, and cultural differences (in our communication 1 + 1 isn’t Always 2) 😶.

To coordinate with the Indian team in real-time, we found ourselves waking up at the unearthly hour of 3 am. The trials of distance and time zones seemed insurmountable, and just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse, fate played a wicked trick on us. We were stopped by the police 🚔while testing real-time location features in a car with a computer. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time!

It quickly became apparent that our grand plan had backfired. The language barriers, the unforgiving time gap, and the differences in protocols and culture proved to be overwhelming. We felt lost in the sea of volume-driven projects, where personal attention and dedication were scarce commodities.

But, every cloud has a silver lining 🌤️. It was through this challenging experience that we discovered our true calling. We realized that our clients needed to feel like we are an in-house team with effortless communication.
